No shrinking violet

Hi all ......
I am having a shrink plastic moment, feel like a kid when it starts squirming lol, this is what I've come up with.
The papers used are from crafty bitz, roughed up and torn a little to give it character.
The sign is shrink plastic cut with a tim holtz hanging sign die, distressed with scattered straw, the word "cafe" was stamped and coloured with promarkers before shrinking, the bracket was distresses with rusty hinge and blk soot.

This lovely woj image coffee 2 go has been coloured in with promarkers The following were used.

Hair satin, sandstone caramel
skin almond blush
dress etc tea green soft green
cup caramel cinnamon

The flower was made using you guessed it shrink plastic... cut with Tin Holtz tattered flower die, coloured with distressed ink scattered straw, the back petal is a piece of vellum cut with the ek retro flower punch and martha stewart edger punch doily.

Hope you liked my creation I certainly had fun doing it..

Bye for now Sue xx

A horse of course

This is a card made using an Inkadinkado stamp Horses. Its my favourite stamp at the moment.
I am not normally a horsey person but you know when you just look at a stamp and say "mmmm I could use that set in so many different ways". well that was one of those moments....

I will stop rambling on and begin,
Cream pearl card base, 1st layer wood grain card stock distressed with antique linen, scattered straw and just a touch of black soot.
This was then bound with string, next....

The image was stamped onto cream pearl card with black Archival ink , cut with a Marianne Design die, painted with Distressed Crackle paint (rock candy) once dry I swiped it over with scattered straw distress ink just to accentuate the crackles a little.

I stamped the Hero Arts sentiment on cream pearl card distressed the edge slightly with a pair of scissors then applied scattered straw distress ink and added a knot of the string

Just wanted to share
Thanks for looking
Sue

i have a little promarker tutorial to share with you tonight.thankyou to wild rose studio for permission to use one of their images.i have used one of the milton and co stamps called toby with bottle.so with out further ado, lets get on :)

1.so first i stamped my image with momento ink onto a smooth white card.
here i have coloured him with SANDSTONE.

2.now using CARAMEL, go nearly all over your sandstone.

3.now use COCOA and go over nearly all your caramel.

4.now i have used HENNA but only a little over the cocoa.

5.next just a touch of WALNUT where your darkest areas would be.

6.take your SANDSTONE again and working in small circular strokes with your pen, blend all your colours together, i go from my darkest shade and work towards the lightest.you may need to do this a few times to achieve the effect you are happy with.
7.now for his tummy, ears and nose.first i have used PUTTY all over.then i have used SUNKISSED PINK nearly all over.
8.now a little TAN in the darker areas.
9.taking your PUTTY again, blend together in circular movements.
10.now i am doing toby`s glass and bottle of red :)
first RED all over.
11.then CARDINAL nearly all over the red.
12.now a little BURGANDY in the darkest areas.
13.and blend together with your RED.
14.now for the wine label and cork, i first used BLUSH.
15.then nearly all over with VANILLA.
16.and then a little MUSTARD.
17.and then blended together with BLUSH.
18.i have used a little bit of PASTEL GREEN just on the edge of his glass.
