PROMARKER TUTORIAL BY NIC.

good afternoon all.dt member nic here.sorry its been so long since my last post but lifes quite busy in the coops household, lol.so today i thought i would share another promarker tutorial with you.this time i am going to try and show you how i colour people in with my promarkers.this gorgeous sugar nellie stamp-angel wishes has been stamped with memento ink on to my card.

lets start, lol. 1.first i have used CORAL where i would like the shadows on her skin to be.

2.now i am using SUNKISSED PINK by going over the coral and more into the white area.

3.now all over with BLUSH.

4.now i thought it looked a little pale so i repeated steps 1 to 3 to get more depth.

5.to colour in her gorgeous hair i have started with SHALE where i want the shadows.

6.now i use WALNUT, again going over the shale and more into the white area.

7.now i use COCOA, i always go all over the previous colours and slightly more into the white area with each colour.

8.now all over with CINNAMON.

9.again i wanted more shadow so have just used a little more SHALE.

10.now the stars on her dress, no need to be too fussed on such a small area, so first i used BURGANDY.

11.and then CARDINAL.

12.for the bow,i have used BURGANDY first.

13.then a little CARDINAL RED.

14.all over with RUBY.apologies for the bleeding of the colours but nothing that your blender, chalks or cutting the image out won`t solve :D

15.now to colour her dress, i am hoping to get a gold colour this time so i start with RAW SIENNA.

16.then MUSTARD.

17.and then PASTEL YELLOW.

18.and again i wanted more depth so have added more RAW SIENNA.

this gorgeous sugar nellie image and full range of promarkers are available from crafty urchins.

well i hope you all liked my tutorial and that it was easy for you to follow.

you will get different effects on the intensity of the colours depending on your cardstock.

my tip is to keep experimenting with different card until you find one that suits you.

as always i`m not an expert but this is how i do mine.

remember the main thing is to have fun :D

ttfn

luv nic aka coops xxxxx

love it Nic, I am going to try and copy it next time i do mine. How do you not get a line when you add more dark? do you go over with light again to blend?

thanks for the tutorial - different to how others do it. But i do it the same way, darker colours first, then blend - you use less ink that way!
